Jane M Jamieson, CFRE
Jane is a senior fundraising professional with progressive experience and comprehensive knowledge of all development programs. With over 25 years of experience in fundraising, Jane has held a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation since 2003.
Her business, Jane M Jamieson Consulting, focuses on advancing exceptional fundraising through inspired leaders. Through training, knowledge transfer, coaching and mentoring, Jane helps staff and volunteers build their results. She has expertise in leadership giving, planned giving and annual programs. She has extensive knowlege in foundational aspects necessary for effective fundraising including annual plans, stewardship, impact and accountability, policies and procedures, and more. She can teach your staff to write effective donor communications and cases for support to tell your story and inspire giving.
Jane held progressive positions for 20 years at Grand River Hospital Foundation, and personally raised over $15 M in the last decade through leadership and planned gifts. As Director of Development, her fundraising team consistently met its annual revenue goal of $5 M through annual, leadership and planned giving programs. As lead for the planned giving program, she generated an average of $1 M annually through long term donor cultivation. She successfully led a $2.5 M campaign for a new CT Scanner, a $1.5 M campaign for Interventional Radiology and the $4.2 M Architects of Care Campaign to fund a new Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient Oncology Unit, and Adult/Child Mental Health Units. Jane also participated in Campaign K-W ($20 M) and the One Voice, One Vision Joint Hospital Campaign ($43M).
Prior to her time at GRHF, she was a senior Program Manager at the YMCA of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo.
